Job Description

📌 About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated Legal Publications Intern (6 months) to support our editorial initiatives, starting in June or July 2026.

This hybrid role is ideal for a law student or recent graduate with a strong interest in international law and arbitration, excellent writing skills, and curiosity about legal publishing in a tech-driven environment.

You’ll play a key role in the production, structuring, and dissemination of high-quality legal content on Jus Mundi’s platforms. You will work closely with leading arbitration practitioners and contribute to projects at the intersection of law, publishing, and legal tech, including AI-related initiatives.

🙌 The Team

You’ll be part of our Institutional & Legal Affairs Department, working closely with the Legal Publications team.

The team collaborates with leading arbitration professionals worldwide and contributes to the publication of legal content, including articles, reports, and journals such as Daily Jus and the Jus Mundi Arbitration Review.

You will also be involved in projects related to legal tech and artificial intelligence, and work alongside professionals across legal, data, and product teams.

🌟Your mission at Jus Mundi

Legal Publications & Editorial Work

  • Coordinate with authors and editors (arbitration practitioners and academics) throughout the publication process

  • Proofread, edit, and format legal content (articles, reports, case notes) in line with editorial standards

  • Ensure compliance with citation and formatting guidelines (footnotes, references, structure)

  • Publish and update content on Jus Mundi platforms (CMS, WordPress)

  • Manage the editorial calendar and monitor publication workflows (Salesforce, Notion, Asana)

Legal Research & Content Development

  • Conduct legal research to verify sources and enrich publications

  • Identify key legal concepts and contribute to content structuring (metadata, tagging)

  • Monitor developments in international arbitration and suggest relevant topics for publication

  • Benchmark peer publications and contribute ideas for new editorial formats

Editorial Collaborations & Contributor Management

  • Identify and engage with potential contributors (law firms, academics, institutions) aligned with the editorial strategy

  • Support outreach and day-to-day communication with contributors

  • Coordinate content submissions, review, and publication follow-up

  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of editorial collaboration agreements

  • Maintain and develop relationships with contributors and partner organizations

Legal Tech & Editorial Innovation

  • Contribute to content and initiatives related to AI in legal practice and arbitration

  • Research emerging trends and best practices in legal tech and generative AI

  • Support the improvement of editorial processes and tools through technology

  • Participate in testing and optimizing internal editorial and CMS tools

Preferred Experience

  • Background: Master’s or LL.M. student or recent graduate with an interest in international arbitration and law in a tech-driven environment.

  • Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills in English, attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and advanced proficiency with legal technology tools.

  • Tech & AI: Experience with generative AI tools and an understanding of AI applications in legal research, document analysis and workflow automation. Comfortable experimenting with emerging technologies to enhance legal processes and drive efficiency. Experience with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce), project management tools (Asana, Notion), and content management systems (WordPress) is a plus but training will be provided.

  • Mindset: Proactive, rigorous, and comfortable working with demanding legal content and international contributors.

  • Ambition: Eager to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and grow at the intersection of law, publishing, and technology.

  • Final interview with Clemence Prevot, Director of Publications. Potentially in person at our Paris office.
